Another great way to improve internet security is with antivirus software. This special type of software scans, detects, and quarantines files on your computer that become infected. Your antivirus software should auto update regularly to fight the evolution of viruses online.

The last thing you can do is install antispyware. There are programs online designed specifically to collect information about you. Your passwords, your browsing habits, your credit card information. Antispyware will defend you against Trojans, adware, and key loggers.
