The Sony LCD TV is quite good at conveying the detail because of its extra brightness, sharpness and resolution of its picture. The definition of this their LCD televisions are not high definition but they are high impact none the less. The Sony LCD TV does beautifully with landscape shots. It captures the natural colors of the scenes so well that many nature scenes that you find in movies or nature shows are absolutely breathtaking.
The television delivers incredible landscape and nature scenes, so realistic and eye popping that it definitely is hard to tell whether or not this television is HD or LCD.
Their Sony LCD TV’s 23″ screen model KLV-23HR2 is probably an average to good television mainly because for some reason they did not include a VGA input on the back of this model and that is an utter shame since the picture quality would be incredible as a second computer monitor. Other than the obvious omission of the VGA capabilities, a lot of the other features are of high quality.
Some of the other features that come with it are an NTSC tuner that allows you to be able to watch regular television when needed. And even though this is a relatively small television it does come with some very good built-in speakers that put out some pretty good sound. It also comes equipped with a very nice WOWa Audio Effect that gives you the ability to manage your base levels on the audio and make the mid-range audio quality increase as well.
The Sony LCD TV gives the user the ability to be able to hide away the cable clutter that can take away from the sleek beauty of the television. You can take off the back of the TV monitor and then neatly arrange all of the cables at the back of the television.
This particular model does come with its own base which is attractive, but this TV can also be mounted on the wall because of its relative light weight.
This wonderful television should please most people who are looking forward to being able to receive HD broadcasts. The reason for this is that this particular television is ready to accept most typical types of scan line formats that are associated with HD programming.
This TV also comes with a Memory Stick slot and allows you to display your personal pictures and/or videos and even gives you the ability to record them as well. The bad news though is that there might be compatibility issues with other Memory Sticks which may limit you to using only other Sony products.
The price on this television at around $2,200 maybe more in some areas, might be quite alarming for some, especially since it does have a few things omitted that might have made the television more appealing. But if you don’t mind some of the things it lacks, you will enjoy its quality.
